An End-User Licence Agreement (EULA) is a form of licence contract concluded directly between the software author or provider and the end user. It sets out the terms under which the software can be installed, used, updated or shared. It also defines what the user is not allowed to do, such as copying, modifying or distributing the software without permission.
A well-drafted EULA protects both the provider’s rights and the user’s confidence in using the software legally and under clear conditions. It commonly includes provisions on liability, warranties, licence fees and termination.
When preparing EULAs, we tailor them to the nature of the product, distribution method and software activation process. We also ensure compliance with EU and Czech consumer protection and digital content legislation.
