The Czech Act on Accessibility Requirements for Certain Products and Services introduces new obligations for providers of electronic commerce services. These obligations primarily concern the accessibility of websites and digital interfaces of e-shops, including the provision of service information, contract conclusion processes and user interface design.
We assist companies in assessing whether and to what extent the new accessibility requirements apply to their e-shop or digital service. Our work focuses on identifying statutory obligations, including information duties towards consumers and accessibility requirements for users with disabilities. We explain what information must be provided and how it should be made accessible to comply with the law.
We help clients align their internal processes and legal documentation to ensure that their online business remains compliant and legally secure. Our objective is to ensure that e-shops and digital services are user friendly and sustainable from a long term legal perspective.
