Jakub specialises in the legal challenges of the digital age. His primary focus is on private law, with particular emphasis on the rapidly developing areas of e-commerce, software law and intellectual property protection in IT. He has been part of the firm from the very beginning of his career – joining as a Junior Associate, continuing as an Attorney after passing the bar exam, and today serving as a key member of the team guiding clients safely through the complexities of the online environment.

His added value lies in bridging law and technology. Thanks to his extensive background in software and web application development, he has a deep understanding of technical processes and is able to identify risks that often remain unnoticed by lawyers without a technical background. He designs and negotiates complex technology transactions, including enterprise SaaS solutions, partnership and distribution models, API and integration agreements, joint development and technology transfer agreements, as well as service agreements with SLAs.

He also advises on personal data protection in data-intensive environments, including DPIAs and cross-border data transfers, ensuring that documentation is legally sound, technically feasible and practical for product, development and business teams alike. His approach helps clients save time and costs, and makes him a trusted partner who truly speaks the language of their business.

Jakub provides legal services in both Czech and English. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno.
